Welcome to Houston Youth Track & Field. A local resource for youth athletics events. This includes indoor and outdoor track & field, cross country, road races, and race walking events. We primarily focus on events within a 50-mile radius of downtown Houston, Texas. However, we will include youth national events and other events submitted for review.
The 2023 Texas Storm Annual Track Meet is a youth track and field competition in Houston. So, the event will take place on May 13, 2023, at Clear Book High School in Friendswood, Texas. The event is licensed by the USA Track & Field (USATF).

Fees: pay online with a Credit Card for $12.00/athlete Entry

Meet Schedule for Afterburners Youth Track Club
The 2023 Texas Storm Annual Track Meet is open to youth 18 and under. Thus, offering youth track and field events in the sprints, distance, and hurdle races. As well as throwing and jumping events. Hosted by Texas Storm Youth Track Club. The Texas Storm Youth Track Club offers youth track and field in Houston and Surrounding Areas for athletes aged 6-18.
Please note that an event will close once the registration limit per the meet schedule has been reached and paid for by the clubs/athletes. All clubs/athletes that have not paid once an event limit has been reached will no longer be able to register for or compete in that event. No refunds will be issued.
Coaches, as we near the close of registration and there are athletes that you know will not compete in a particular event, kindly remove them from the entry list so that we do not have an abundance of empty lanes. This helps us in making sure everyone has a great meet experience.

So, you can submit your track meet to the calendar here. Track and field is the most participated sport in high school. Therefore, youth track and field clubs offer development opportunities to youth enabling their knowledge and skill in middle and high school. There are three national organizations in youth track and field — USA Track & Field (USATF), Amateur Athletic Union, and National Congress of State Games. USATF is the sports national organizing body. USATF and AAU hold annual Junior Olympic competitions, while the State Games of America take place bi-annually.
