The 2023 Wharton County Wave Invitational Track and Field Meet is a youth track and field competition in Houston. So, the event will take place on April 29, 2023, at Eddie Joseph Memorial Stadium in Wharton, Texas. The event is licensed by the Amateur Athletic Union of the U.S., Inc (AAU).

Meet Schedule for Wharton County Wave Invitational
The 2023 Wharton County Wave Invitational Track and Field Meet is open to youth 18 and under. Thus, offering youth track and field events in the sprints, distance, and hurdle races. As well as throwing and jumping events. Hosted by Wharton County Wave Track Club. The Wharton County Wave Track Club offers youth track and field in Houston and Surrounding Areas for athletes aged from 6-18
All participants must have a current AAU membership. Thus, AAU membership is not included as part of the entry fee to the event. Also, please obtain your AAU Youth Athlete membership before the competition begins. Adult and Non-Athlete memberships are no longer instant. So, you may not apply for membership at the event. Therefore, please allow 10 days for membership processing. Visit the AAU website to get a membership.

So, you can submit your track meet to the calendar here. Track and field is the most participated sport in high school. Therefore, youth track and field clubs offer development opportunities to youth enabling their knowledge and skill in middle and high school. There are three national organizations in youth track and field — USA Track & Field (USATF), Amateur Athletic Union, and National Congress of State Games. USATF is the sports national organizing body. USATF and AAU hold annual Junior Olympic competitions, while the State Games of America take place bi-annually.
